Shootin Starzz Casting Call

Shootin Starzz Productions is looking for models of all ages to participate in a variety of creative projects and fashion shows this year. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your talent and gain valuable experience in the modeling industry.

Requirements:

  • Dress in Call Attire

  • Minimum makeup

  • Be prepared to showcase your talent

  • A headshot will be taken at the event

SFWRUNWAY: NYFW Casting Call

Date: Saturday, February 1, 2025
Time: 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM

Description:
This is your chance to walk the runway at SFWRUNWAY during New York Fashion Week! Bring your confidence, energy, and best walk to showcase your talent at this final in-person casting.

Requirements:

  • Height: 5’9” and above

  • Attire: Fitted clothing

  • Essentials: Bring heels for the walk and a comp card

Aimee Kuiper: Call for Models

Description:
Author and illustrator Aimee Kuiper is seeking models to participate in a photoshoot highlighting medical aid devices such as hearing aids, canes, wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, insulin pumps, and more. This project, funded by a Forecast Public Art research grant, aims to celebrate inclusion and provide valuable reference materials for young artists.

Who Can Apply:
This opportunity is open to individuals who identify as persons with a disability (PWD) and have modeling experience.

Details:
Images from the photoshoot will be used to create worksheets distributed for free to students in-person and online via the project’s website.

Portrait/Figure Drawing Sessions

Description:
Models needed for weekly drawing sessions designed to nurture your creativity in a supportive setting.

Monday Evenings:

  • Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM

  • Details: Bring your own drawing supplies. Setup and model provided.

Thursday Afternoons (Portrait/Figure Drawing):

  • Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM

Experienced models are needed to pose for both figure and portrait drawing sessions. This is a great opportunity to support local artists while showcasing your unique presence.

Haley Indorato Studio - Portrait Painting Model Call (Ongoing)

Description:
Haley Indorato Studio is seeking models in the Rochester area to pose for upcoming portrait paintings. Haley’s work focuses on how people interact with their environment and each other, often capturing ordinary, unrepresented individuals in meaningful spaces. Models may pose in locations important to them, with objects that provide context, creating a unique narrative within each piece.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who want to be part of a creative and thought-provoking art project that explores human vulnerability, connection, and the reality of modern life.

Thrift2death Y2K Market Experience

Description:
The Thrift2death Y2K Market Experience invites attendees to celebrate the iconic fashion of the Y2K era. This two-day event, hosted in collaboration with @flykids___, offers a unique blend of style, creativity, and nostalgia. A $200 prize will be awarded to the best-dressed attendee, as decided by the community after the event.
